Hi there! 
I am a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in economics. How does economics relate to marketing? It's a long story. During my time there, I worked for several businesses (mainly nonprofits) in Birmingham in primarily digital media and communications. While working for nonprofits, I had limited budgets and resources, so I took advantage of many opportunities at UAB. UAB offered free software, so I taught myself how to use the Adobe Creative Suite.
I also taught myself some HTML/CSS coding to better improve websites that needed a refresh. I have since trained interns and coworkers on many programs including Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, Canva, Planoly, Wix, Weebly, Wordpress, Squarespace, and Asana, which is used for project management.
I love my day job doing economic development, but I love the creative aspects of freelancing, whether it's designing for others or teaching people how to create. Let me know how I can help with your project!
